We hereby confirm the conformity of our products according to the RoHS-directives 2011/65/EU or EU 2015/863 of the European Parliament.
Declaration of Conformity – REACH
Hugo Arens GmbH & Co. KG is a downstream user as manufacturer of products in the sense of REACH. Thus, our products are not subject to any registration, evaluation or authorization requirements. In addition, no substance is released from our products under normal and foreseeable conditions of use. Thus, Hugo Arens GmbH & Co. KG is not subject to the obligation to register or the obligation to compile safety data sheets. According to the current state of knowledge, no prohibited substances from the Candidate List of Substances of Concern (SVHC) are used for the manufacture of our products.
Information obligation according to Article 33:
As a supplier of a product, in accordance with Article 33 of the REACH Regulation, we are obliged to inform the customer if one or more substances of the SVHC candidate list are contained in the delivered products at a concentration of more than 0,1% by mass per partial product is/are included. If this is the case, relevant information will be published on our homepage.
Information obligation to lead (Pb), CAS-no. 7439-92-1
Lead was added to the SVHC candidate list in June 2018. Thus, all exceptions to lead (Pb) are now subject to information.
Lead as an alloying element is present in low concentrations predominantly in steel (< 0,35 %), in aluminium (< 0,4 %) and in copper (< 4 %).
Although these concentrations are allowed under RoHS regulations, the following articles from our product catalog are subject of this information obligation:

- Self aligning bearing no. 76
- Reducer no. 35
- Hinge part no. 26
